Originally opened in 1999 as the first cooking school in Lower Bavaria, the Hofgut Hafnerleiten near Bad Birnbach in Lower Bavaria has become an incomparable retreat over the years. The refuge is situated in the middle of the countryside, only five kilometres north of Bad Birnbach in the Rottal, Europe's largest golf and spa landscape. A small, family-run boutique hotel with ten different themed houses, three new single rooms and two suites on 30,000 square metres of private property - an architectural gem which has received many awards. Feel the Mediterranean way of life and let yourself be welcomed into our way of hospitality - enjoy your own house and the cosiness of the common dinner in the main house, which has become a beloved ritual for all house guests. We bring your bathrobe breakfast to your house every day.

Culinary delights play an essential role at Hofgut Hafnerleiten. Owner Erwin Rückerl regularly offers cooking courses that reflect his love of Mediterranean cuisine. The cooking school offers antipasti courses, fish and menu courses as well as barbecue courses at the Weber Grill and the ring of fire. Another passion of the host is the BARISTA SCHOOL - with the courses: ""The way to the perfect espresso"" and LATTE ART. The restaurant opens its doors to all the guests on Thursday for spaghettata and on Friday for culinary delights, every week - all year round. Since the places in the estate are limited and everything is freshly cooked, please always reserve in advance."

NO ELECTROSMOG at the estate. There is free WiFi access in the main house of the estate. Mobile phone reception is weak in the rest of the grounds, there are no annoying overhead lines and the sockets by the bed can be switched off, which ensures deep, restful sleep."
