Rivers and streams with their floodplains form connecting corridors that are also of high ecological value for the adjacent natural areas. In the careful development of Bad Birnbach, nature was deliberately brought into focus. Directly adjoining the spa area is the natural spa park, inviting you to breathe deeply and relax. The bathing landscape of the Rottal Terme is located in the middle of the park and has become part of the landscape.
At the edge of the spa park begins the "nature trail in the Rottauen". Visitors are accompanied here with interesting facts about the local nature. It is about the second great treasure that Bad Birnbach possesses alongside its unique healing water: an intact environment that must be protected and preserved for future generations.
