1 | Chrysanti spa

In the Chrysanti spa, named after the local saint of Bad Birnbach, you will find pure relaxation in a large central pool or in four corner pools, watched over by allegorical nymphs of the famous Rottal sculptor Joseph Michael Neustifter.

2 | Thermal stream

Let yourself drift in our 105-metre-long thermal stream, which is modelled on the landscape of the Flaucher; its flow speed changes with the different widths. Relax on a bubble lounger or simply switch off from everyday life with light shows and underwater music in the music pavilion. With a water temperature of 33 °C, attractive sprays such as neck showers, floor lifters and waterfalls, the thermal stream is one of the highlights of our spa world at the Vitarium - especially at night when it is lit up with a wide variety of colours thanks to the latest LED technology.

3 | Saltwater lagoon

Float on the 35 °C warm thermal water enriched with 12 % brine. A bath in the salt water lagoon not only stimulates the metabolism, it also relieves muscles, joints and the spine and promotes blood circulation to the skin.

4 | Rain sauna

A highlight: our eventful rain sauna! In this steam sauna you can experience a Rottal summer storm several times a day. Thunder, lightning and shortly afterwards thick raindrops are pelting down.

Exclusive peelings take place three times a day in this sauna; these can be booked at our cash desks.

5 | Cascade pool

Enjoy the soothing warmth of our healing water in the 36 °C warm water cascade pools. The massage mushroom in the middle of the pool loosens and relaxes your neck muscles.

6 | Summer pool

After all the relaxation and recreation do you want to get some exercise? Then get intoour 24 - 26 °C warm summer pool! By the way: Swim six lengths and you've covered 1000 metres.

7 | Movement pool

Climb out of the 34 °C warm water feeling relaxed and loose after bathing in the exercise pool with massage jets.

8 | Textile sauna

Recharge your batteries in our textile sauna. Atmospheric light changes make the sauna really enjoyable.
Is the sauna something new for you? Our textile sauna is almost perfect for all those who want to get up close and personal.

9 | Garden of the Senses

In the Garden of the Senses you have the feeling of lying in the middle of the spa gardens and yet you are really close to the next medicinal water pool. The pond belonging to Rottal Terme ensures a pleasant climate even on sultry days. The bowling alley, two double floating loungers, a foot reflex zone parcour and a lawn chess board complete the outdoor area.

Indulge your senses In our wellness and cosmetics department we will enchant you with every trick in the book. From classic back massages and facial treatment to foot care treatment and evening primrose oil packs: the wellness and beauty treatments in our HAUTcouture leave nothing to be desired.

Discover a new outlook on life. In our active garden you will findstate-of-the-art equipment. Our indoor cycles, the equipment compass and the Kinesis training wall ensure nothing stands in the way of your training.
One of our professional therapists will be happy to advise you in an appointment that is free of charge. You can make appointments at our ticket offices.

12 | Kneipp step pool

Whoever Kneipps stays fit! Kneipping strengthens your immune system and contributes to general well-being. The stony ground in this pool provides additional added value for your Kneipp walk.

13 | Graduation tower

Breathe deeply and escape from everyday life. Salty water, which drips over hawthorn twigs, clears your respiratory tract and you can completely indulge in relaxation in the somewhat cooler temperature relaxation room.

14 | Rest facilities

Let yourself unwind. We take care of your relaxation in our retreats created for this purpose. In the relaxation rooms on the 1st floor of the spa world at the Vitarium, you will find the necessary peace and quiet.

15 | Vitarium Lounge

Venite - The Restaurant at Rottal Terme

What contributes more to a general feeling of well-being than the enjoyment of delicious food? Exactly - not much. That's why we spoil you in our Venite restaurant with fresh, varied Bavarian cuisine. The beautiful view of the Garden of the Senses simply makes your visit to the restaurant even more enjoyable.

15 | Grotto of the senses

Our special steam bath: Discover a new feeling of walking with the varied surfaces. The sequence of constantly changing information, stimulation and requirements - similar to a foot reflexology course - massage your feet in a natural way.

Venite - The Bistrot at Rottal Terme - currently closed

Top up your energy reserves between sauna sessions. Our Venite-Bistrot offers delicious refreshments, hearty snacks and a variety of cakes, tarts and other delicacies.

Open daily from 11 am to 8 pm.

17 | Solarium

Tanned skin all year round. A visit to our solarium on the first floor will ensure nothing prevents it. We will be happy to advise you on your skin type before sunbathing.
