Covered walkway - The Artrium and Art

Our Artrium stands in a prominent place. In the spot where, at the end of the 1930's, the search for oil took place. It is also the intersection point of the urban axes, where the newly created spa area around Rottal Terme and the foothills of the historically developed village meet. There, where there is the gentle transition to the natural spa park, where you can literally sense the Rottauen facing south. It was supposed to be an open house. Open for everyone, open for everything. The arc-architect also came up with the idea of grouping the rooms required around a wind-protected inner courtyard, which is surrounded by a glazed orangery. The colour of the concrete walls of the up to five-metre-high orangery is not grey by chance. It is a specially coloured concrete which is ideal as an exhibition space and provides an ideal setting for works of art. Every month, well-known and less well-known artists present their works to the general public. As art was supposed to be allocated a large space in this house, they also wanted it to be fixed in the name. Thus, it happened that the actual "atrium" was given an "r" - and became "Artrium".

After finishing your work, it is best to relax in the medicinal waters of the Rottal Terme, which can reach temperatures of up to 40 °C. The most modern bathing landscapes, physical therapy or wellness at its best are available for you to choose. The meditation path in the Spa park invites you to reflect, linger and meditate. Only a few tees to the Bella Vista Golfpak and you will be playing on the grass of the Old Course in the midst of a picturesque landscape. We are also happy to show you the most beautiful sides of the Rottal. From an impressive visit to the unique "Siebenschläferkirche", the thrilling experience on the high ropes course, to a cosy snack in the chestnut beer garden - we organise "Your programme" individually, following the motto: "Nothing is impossible".
